It is expected that colleges will embrace an avant-gard approach to technology in terms of connectivity and the ability for students to access all forms of wired and wireless devices; however, these demands are all too often tied to budgetary constraints and very tight scrutiny by a wide variety of reviewers. Decisions must demonstrate that the college has responsibly invested in technology to addresses current needs and future growth potential, while being fiscally responsible. NIS has a long attended to the demands of departmental chairs and governing boards while crafting solutions that address their unique challenges.
