PROJECT OVERVIEW

Portland Community College (PCC) has been a client of NIS for more than 10 years. Our most recent project with the College was a managed migration of their E911 environment in conjunction with an enterprise installation of VoIP services. Previously, NIS was hired to evaluate PCC’s existing voice delivery system (PBX) and craft an RFP to solicit competitive bids from qualified vendors for replacement. NIS was responsible for analyzing the responses, providing a five-year total cost of ownership model, and assisting in final contract negotiations.

Over the years, NIS has also completed the following projects:
Created a five-year strategic telecommunications plan which included an overhaul of their WAN network, active electronics, and cabling infrastructure
Provided data networking technical support
Helped with technology bond planning efforts
Provided telecommunications design for several buildings, both new construction and renovations
