PROJECT OVERVIEW

NIS performed an in-depth analysis of the Tribe’s entire IT organization to address their day-to-day application of technology. This assessment culminated in delivery of a report to the Tribal management and Tribal council with recommendations concerning best practices, security standards, staffing levels, and organizational structure.

NIS made a number of recommendations with general timelines to help set priorities. The timelines were intended to assist in prioritizing resources, not to serve as firm project schedules. At the request of Tribe IT management, NIS also provided some very broad ballpark cost ranges for some of the recommended next steps. These estimates served as starting points for budgetary prioritization and consideration by the Tribe’s management going forward.
