FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Portland, OR, March 5, 2017– Glenn Sexton, President of Northwest Information Services, announced this week that the company has officially changed its name to NIS.
The new name better reflects the scope of the technology consulting and design firm, which was founded in Portland in 1986. “Over the past 30 years, our company has grown and expanded to serve clients beyond the Northwest,” said Diane Forbes, Operations Manager of NIS. “In that spirit, we are proud to reintroduce ourselves as NIS. As always, we remain dedicated to providing the technology expertise our clients expect.”
Along with the name change, NIS has introduced a new logo and website. “Our company is constantly evolving and improving, and we want everything about our brand to reflect our commitment to the most current and relevant industry knowledge,” Forbes noted.
The new name, logo and website are the latest developments in a series of positive changes for the company. In March 2015, NIS moved its headquarters to Griffith Park Corporate Center in Beaverton. The updated office space was tailored specifically to meet the company’s needs.
Customers and employees alike have responded positively to the new name and look. Craig Runyon with PIVOT Architecture said, “We’ve relied on NIS as a valued technology partner. As designers, we appreciate the thought behind the transformation of their brand, and the way it truly expresses their company vision.”
